Celebrating Mother’s Day, here are my book recommendations.
"I Love You, Mommy" by Jillian Harker and Kristina Stephenson celebrates the love between a mother and child through simple, heartwarming text and charming illustrations. "Mama, Do You Love Me?" by Barbara M. Joosse and Barbara Lavallee - Set in the Arctic, follows a young girl asking her mother if she would still love her under various extreme circumstances. It beautifully portrays the unconditional love "Does a Kangaroo Have a Mother, Too?" by Eric Carle - Eric Carle explores the relationships between various animals and their mothers, teaching children about different animal families engagingly and playfully. "My Monster Mama Loves Me So" by Laura Leuck and Mark Buehner is a fun and imaginative story about a young monster who describes how his monster mama shows her love for him. "Are You My Mother?" by P.D. Eastman is a classic children's book about a baby bird who hatches while his mother is away.
