This book is a tribute to two very special people in my life: Ken and Luisa, who welcomed me warmly in Canada. Ken, a passionate scientist who loved penguins, and Luisa, an inquisitive and energetic woman, inspired the characters. The real Kenny—a giant penguin plush gifted to my children by Ken and Luisa—became the protagonist of this story.
Through this first space adventure, I aim to convey universal values and encourage children’s curiosity, imagination, and joy of learning.”

Reviewed in Canada on January 2, 2023This is a story about Kenny making a spaceship for his science contest, but then Tommy steals some screws on the spaceship to win the contest. Tommy eventually realizes the meaning of winning and gives the screws back to Kenny. If your child likes science, building, and spaceship, they will like the book! Friendship and sportsmanship are also touched on in this story too. A nice read!
