My selection for Chinese New Year's celebration.
Peppa’s Chinese New Year" (4-8 years old): A fun and engaging story featuring Peppa Pig and her friends celebrating Chinese New Year. It incorporates activities like hanging lanterns, eating fortune cookies, and participating in a dragon dance, making it a lively introduction to the holiday for young readers. "Dragon Dance" (ages 2-6): A lift-the-flap book introducing the customs of Chinese New Year. Lift-the-flap books are interactive and can captivate young children's attention, making this a great choice for the younger age group. "Maisy’s Chinese New Year" (3-7 years old): This book involves Maisy and her friends celebrating Chinese New Year. The story includes beautiful gifts, lucky symbols, and a feast. The incorporation of a narrative about the significance of Chinese New Year adds an educational element to the story. "Chelsea’s Chinese New Year" (5-8 years old): Chelsea's family celebrates Chinese New Year, and the book explores the various ways people celebrate this special day. It provides a glimpse into the cultural traditions and festivities associated with Chinese New Year. "Star Will Still Shine" (4-8 years old): Written by a celebrated children's book author, this comforting book is designed to offer solace during challenging times. While not explicitly related to Chinese New Year, it may provide a meaningful and uplifting read, especially for children facing difficulties. The universal theme of family and celebrations adds depth to the story. “Bringing In the New Year" (4-8 years old): is a culturally rich and visually appealing book that introduces young readers to the traditions of the Chinese New Year. It may not align precisely with the theme of an absent parent returning, but it offers valuable lessons about family, celebration, and cultural diversity. The universal themes explored in the book make it a positive and enriching read for children.
I am thrilled to share these amazing reviews of my book Kenny and His Great Invention with you.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27, 1756, in Salzburg, Austria. He was a prolific and influential composer of the Classical era, known for his remarkable talent from an early age. His legacy endures as one of the greatest composers in the history of Western classical music.
To celebrate Groundhog Day here I have selected six children's books.
'Grumpy Groundhog " It’s Groundhog Day, and everyone is gathered to find out if it’s time for spring. But Groundhog does NOT want to leave his cozy bed in his cozy den. Will the towns people be able to coax him outside to do his job? Kids will love the humorous story. 'Substitute Groundhog " It's almost Groundhog Day! but this year Groundhog is not feeling well. Dr. Owl diagnoses him with the flu and orders two days of bed rest. Then Groundhog has an idea- he can hire a substitute! Who could be? (Age 3-6 years old) "Groundhog’s Runaway Shadow "Phil and his shadow do everything together. But where Phil is steady, predictable, and a little boring, Shadow is adventurous, freewheeling—even a bit rude. So they don't get along so well anymore. Fed up, the two have a falling-out, and Shadow runs off to see the world. If the groundhog doesn’t see its shadow come February 2nd, young readers will have an idea of where it might be,. (4-08 years old) "Groundhog Special Secret" A sweet story about a little groundhog Lila curious about what happen when groundhog go up there. (Age 3-5 years old) "A Garden for a Groundhog "Every year Groundhog gets to eat most of the O'Leary's garden. They decide to plant a garden just for him in the hope that he will be satisfied. But Groundhog has other ideas! (Age 5-8 years old) "The Night Before Groundhog Day" The anticipation is building: Will the groundhog see his shadow? Will there be six more weeks of winter? Get ready for this festive occasion with the countdown to Groundhog Day in this fun, rhyming story (4-8 years old)
"Today, I like life much less, but I always like to live." This phrase by Cesar Vallejo is powerful and relevant. The statement expresses emotional complexity, acknowledging that life can become tough and less pleasant due to challenges, setbacks, disappointments, and losses that we face throughout it. However, despite this decrease in the appreciation of life, the will to keep on living persists. Life is not easy, especially in modern times, where societies prioritize individualism, egocentrism, and the unrestrained pursuit of money and prestige, regardless of how it is achieved and at the expense of the collective well-being. The lack of empathy, solidarity, and great disinterest in the problems of others make it very difficult to think of today's society as a whole where everyone is valued and respected. But it is possible to consider the contribution that an individual who values life makes to restore social values in the current society.

A Year at a Glance 2023, was a hectic year for me; it started with many ideas and plans that have materialized during the year in several aspects of my professional and personal life.
I added two new English and three Spanish titles and launched the second edition of my book, Lou and His Mane. I had mixed feelings about my Daycare because I decided to close it. I know I would miss the kids dearly, but I felt that the time had arrived to move to other activities that allowed me to grow personally and professionally. As part of the plan, I will enhance my educational website, and I am happy to announce that I will incorporate in 2024 more videos, including storytelling, games, and Spanish classes. As part of the activities, I did my first signing this year, announced that the library got my books, that I have started a YouTube educational channel, and I did, as part of the Christmas celebration, a reading of one of my books in the Consulate of Peru. Also, as a personal challenge, I have read 107 books. I know that this is only the beginning of this journey as a writer, as a teacher and as a human being. I started this year also full of hope, plans, and ideas to improve my work one day at a time. And try to make this world a better place to live. Those are my goals for this coming year and finishing my Spanish teaching degree. Happy New Year, everybody.
The connection between peace and justice is profound; they're interdependent. Injustice does indeed sow seeds of discontent and can lead to further conflict. Ignoring injustice anywhere ultimately poses a threat to the stability and harmony of any society. We cannot ignore injustice anywhere, thinking that will not touch us. The injustices faced by one group or region can reverberate and impact us all. It's a call for collective responsibility to strive for a fair and just world.
I am thrilled to share these amazing reviews of my book with you. Your feedback means the world to me and has been instrumental in refining my writing. I'm delighted to hear that both you and your children enjoyed reading my book and discovered something new within their pages. From the bottom of my heart, I extend my heartfelt thanks!
