Reviewed in the United States ?? on July 11, 2023 Lou and his Mane is a cute story for young children. Lou wakes up to find his mane is gone! He is brave and asks others to help him. Sometimes asking for help can be hard for kids, so this is great that it shows even though Lou is embarrassed, he is willing to still ask for help. His friends also really show good friendship by helping him search. Once Lou finds his mane, he also shows grace to another. The illustrations are also so great! Pre-school aged kids will love this book.

Lou runs into a predicament and is thrown into a bit of a panic until his incredibly loyal friends calm his fears. It is quite moving to see a lion, the king of the jungle, relying on the unwavering support of a giraffe, snake, monkey and crocodile to see him through his trouble. “Lou and his Mane” reminds readers young and old of the importance of trusted friends. Highly recommended!
