Unintended Target is the first book of the series written by D.L Wood. This suspense novel follows a travel photojournalist, Chloe; she decides that the best way to cope with the death of her twin brother, a computer genius, is to take an assignment on a Caribbean island. Still, she does not know that her brother's mistakes will follow her to the Caribbean. Somebody was trying to kill her. Fortunately, she meets Jack, a New York professor who also has come to the island to escape. A series of incidents happened until a murder occurred, and they were framed. With her new friend's help, she needs to escape the island as her only choice and find out what is going on. This is an excellent plot with suspense and adventure. One very surprising point is that it is a Christian book. I was a little skeptical about how you will balance the mystery and the Christian belief and not lose the readers' interest, but this book keeps your interest until the end.
