One of the most treasured memories of my childhood is my great-grandmother and her extraordinary way of making stories. I remember that we all sat on the floor in front of her very quietly for a very long time, because we did not want to miss any detail of her tale. Her stories transported us to the world of the imagination. That mysterious and wonderful world she was creating for us. All those wonders, all the trips she built for us with her stories, make me realize how lucky I am to have had such an extraordinary example of creativity. She made me as an adult, value more the importance of promoting in young children the wonder that only the books and a story well told can bring to them.
