Julia is enjoying her village life; she is dating the town doctor, helping at a local store, and baking a cake for a contest at the annual celebration. But Julia has a knack for finding dead bodies, and this time is no different. She and her friend take their dogs to a maze, where Jake, her Labrador, stumbles upon the corpse of a woman who was also competing in the cake contest. Was this a case of baking rivalry gone wrong, or did the woman have a dark secret in her past? It’s a cozy mystery with a surprising twist. If you're a fan of mystery novels and are looking for a delightful and engaging read, "A Village Fete Murder" is an excellent choice; give it a try
